Adult Ministry
There are a variety of ways to be involved in Adult Ministries at Church of the Cross. There are Sunday School classes available in the link above. There are small groups that meet regularly for Bible Study and for other topical studies. There is more information in the lind above for Small Groups
There are other Adult Ministry opportunities that happen throughout the year. There are monthly activities that encourage time of Fellowship. These activities usually include some form of Food and Fellowship time. Examples include an Annual Birthday Party, a Summer Outdoor Movie/Cookout, concerts featuring the Bell Choir, and outdoor bonfires and group gatherings. Please consult our calendar to discover more about these monthly opportunities to gather and develop our relationships as Christian brothers and sisters.
Another area of our Adult Ministry is discovered by those who have a passion for doing Mission Work. There are various Mission Projects that connect us with the needs of the Salina Community. We participate in the Annual Souper Bowl Drive that collects and distributes soup to the Food Bank, the Salina Rescue Mission and Ashby House.
When emergency situations occur in Salina and nearby communities, there are adults who respond with their skills and presence to provide support and encouragement to affected communities.
Church of the Cross is constantly aware of the need to develop new areas of Ministry that develop and utilize the talents and gifts that God has blessed each of us with. If you are interested in further Ministry opportunities beyond what is listed here, please contact Pastor Greg.
